Which route makes sawdust charcoal?
Sawdust is normally dried and formed into briquettes or sticks before carbonization, or carbonized as fines and then briquetted depending on product needs.
Can waste wood be used?
Only suitable clean feedstock should be considered. Painted, treated or contaminated wood may create product and emissions problems.
Can one line make lump and briquette charcoal?
A combined facility may be possible, but material flow, crushing, forming and separate product handling must be designed accordingly.
